Helping orphans and displaced Children

Since 2000, RWF has been providing life-saving aid to children and has helped them get an education. Currently we are helping children in Cuba, Mexico and Uganda.

In Tijuana, Mexico (2008-present), RWF has delivered over 5000 pounds of life saving medications, medical supplies, school supplies, art supplies, computers, toiletries, and over 1500 children’s Christmas gifts. RWF continues to provide grants to an orphanage and a HIV medical clinic.

In Matanzas, Cuba (2012-present), RWF helps HIV positive children and children with cancer in Matanzas, Cuba by fully funding a two-week summer camp. At camp the children participated in several activities: swimming, sports, games, visits to the local markets and an amusement park. The camp teaches valuable life skills aimed at fostering a health self-esteem, independence, and self-care. The camp also provides skills training and emotional support for family members.

In Oaxaca, Mexico (2017-present), RWF has funded Casa de Kids and the Oaxaca Learning Center that work of empowering orphans and disadvantaged youth since 2017. RWF’s support is used to provide food, shelter, and to further the children's education -- helping break the cycle of poverty.

In Kampala, Uganda (2018-present), RWF helps vulnerable street children, disabled children, and children who don't usually go to school by funding programs throughout the Milele Foundation. The grassroots foundation gives many children a safe place to be and hot meals that they can't get at home. RWF has provided support to the school since 2018.
