Come to The World Tree of Hope Celebration - December 10, 2013

The Honorable Mayor Edwin Lee and First Lady Anita Lee and Rainbow World Fund Invite You To Make A Wish and Come To A Party

Join us as we gather wishes and hopes for the future of our global community and give them wings.

Date: Tuesday, December 10, 2013
Location: The Rotunda, San Francisco City Hall, 1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place.

5:30 p.m. – Concert by the Grammy Award winning San Francisco Boys Chorus

6:00 p.m. – A Celebration of Hope with Author Anne Lamott and Dr. Clarence Jones -- political advisor, counsel, and draft speechwriter (I Have a Dream) for Dr. Martin Luther King. Consul General of Japan, Masato Watanabe, will present a peace crane to the City. The Chinese American International School Children's Choir will perform. The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence will bless the tree.  The emcee is Donna Sachet.  Other guests to be announced.

6:30 p.m. – Veronica Klaus and Josh Klipp will perform at a party to follow until 8:00 p.m.

Party with FREE drinks (wine/vodka) and hors d’oeuvres. Admission is FREE!

This project taps into our two most powerful resources - the human mind and heart - to give individuals a way to join together to express our dreams for the future of our global community.

The Tree of Hope is on display from December 1st to January 2nd at The Rotunda, San Francisco City Hall, 1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place, San Francisco, California.
